Food and drinkWhere to eat in Swansea Bay, Mumbles and Gower![]() Eating out in Swansea Many of our restaurants, cafés and gastropubs take pride in sourcing local ingredients, including meats, seafood, real ale and cider. Try our uniquely-flavoured Llanrhidian salt-marsh lamb, Welsh Black Beef, laverbread, fish and shellfish from local fishermen's boats. Not forgetting our famous cockles, hand-gathered from the sands of Gower since Roman times.
A lot of these are available from Swansea Market or farmers markets around the area.
